Because this is my “about” page, I have to be a little serious – but don’t worry, I’m not going to write about myself in the third person, or spout some arts theory here. While this isn’t a portfolio site, this is how I choose to represent myself professionally as an artist.
Recently, most of my blog-posts have taken the format of an image, paired with a bit of contextualising writing. This might be a joke, some information about the image, or a story about the creation of the image. If you go back into the past, you’ll start to discover my previous career as a new media artist and theorist in the Newcastle area. That’s probably not as interesting or funny though, so I wouldn’t recommend it for casual browsers.
