There is nothing more terrifying than the ‘about’ page. Who am I? What should I say? OH GOD WHAT IF I GET IT WRONG?!
My name is Pete Hindle. I’m an artist.
I’m currently living in rural Bedfordshire, in a small town that think’s it’s the bee’s knees. It’s a terrible and I hate it. Other than that, my life is pretty good.
Currently, I’m exploring traditional media, especially watercolours, but in 2008/09 I was an AHRC funded student at the Culture Lab at Newcastle University, doing things with art and computers. I have a keen interest in literature and New Media, and was writing a thesis about non-academic centres of computer education. Sadly, I was unable to finish that research as I was diagnosed with a severe form of Vasculitis.
These days, I’m mostly recovered but I still have to take things easy. I like attending talks and conferences on a variety of subjects, and writing the occasional review for websites. If you’re interested in any of the things I talk about on this site, or you’ve met me at some event, feel free to drop me a line.
