Favourite Clouds of 2012

I’ve seen a lot of ‘looking back at 2012′ posts over the past few weeks, but I couldn’t quite manage to get mine done before the New Year started. Oops! Rather than re-hash what’s gone before, I just wanted to show off my favourite painting of clouds from last year, which I did on one of those postcards for watercolours.

    Actually I thought it was a secluded bay with mountains along the back and a long sandy spit to protect it from big waves. But that might just be me…

    I went to one proper watercolour class, and that is literally what they taught me to pain. A secluded bay, or perhaps a loch, with mountains in the back and a sandy bit in the front.
